Government Supports

Support for Ukrainians | Government of Alberta

  • This resource offers support and resources specifically tailored to individuals from Ukraine. It provides information on available programs, services, and community initiatives to assist Ukrainian individuals and families in Alberta, promoting their integration, well-being, and cultural connections.

Community and Settlement Services

Ukraine Canadian Congress: Alberta

  • Various services and information (e.g., language support, housing, employment, etc.) are provided across locations in Alberta.

Settlement Supports | Catholic Social Services

  • Services are provided to help Ukrainians settle in communities across Central Alberta. Services are free and confidential.

STUNNING Program | The Immigrant Education Society

A collaborative effort to provide core services to Ukrainians in Calgary. The service providers are prepared to be responsive to the shifting needs of anyone with a CUAET visa-seeking refuge in Alberta. Anyone with a CUAET visa is eligible for these services. Translation and Interpretation Services are available upon request.

Women in Need Society (WINS)‍

Provide provisions for basic needs, including clothing, furniture and other household items, sanitary items, and emergency food.

Arrival Matching Centre for Newcomers (CFN)

Work with refugees in transit countries to confirm eligibility and paperwork and match them to host homes and temporary accommodation.

Information and orientation services to help newcomers connect to supports available in the community, such as employment, language and basic needs.
